Accepting or not accepting insurance has been a challenging reflection. Here are some of the personal thoughts that have led New Game Plus Therapy to not currently accept insurance.

• Out-of-network services do not *require* me to diagnose you. While I believe that diagnoses can be helpful, they can also create challenges.
• Privacy of not having mental health information shared with your insurance company. 
• Client ability to choose a therapist that is a fit for them, not one that only accepts your insurance.
• No restrictions on the amount of sessions, length of sessions, or frequency of sessions.
